Share Teaching Guides
It's a whole lotta fun to share great read alouds. Plus, it's super important. We want to inspire readers early and really excite them. The first step is to share titles, activities, and teaching guides that will enhance the book experience.
Share a whole calendar of teaching guides.
Really help teachers select the best of the best books and do more with each reading.
Share great read aloud titles and teaching guides.
You select the books and share the links to either 1) the OPAC, which hosts the Teaching Guide links, or 2) the Teaching Guide itself.
Want to share more than 16? Add an arrow and link to another Pane and keep on sharing!
Once Downloaded, go to /ExploreBuilder, click the COG (bottom of the page), and select Import and Save.
Link to these guides using the OTHER button while processing books.
An easy way to expand any book experience is to find activities online that teachers and students can do while reading the many books in the library.
OTHER links will show up and be clickable from the Search Menu.
Share Activities by Grade
Feel good that the best activities, most appropriate activities, and getting in the hands of students. Eliminate concerns about wrong-leveled material being shared by creating district-level Explore Panes by grade that may be downloaded and shared with other schools.
Share activities that are age appropriate.
Add activities inside the library that you have pre-blessed as perfect for each grade level.
Create a by-the-grade icon link share.
No longer do you have to compile one list to share in hopes that everyone will know what is grade-level best. Instead, thanks to ALEX, you can select the exact items you want students to access.
Once Downloaded, go to /ExploreBuilder, click the COG (bottom of the page), and select Import and Save.
Then share the links for each grade.
Each and every gade may be enhanced by the materials that have been approved for school and public library use.
Promote Schoolwide Activities
There is nothing like a schoolwide 'Fun Friday' event, especially when activities can be shared and presented to all. A nonfiction picture book, for example. An investigation of ancient sharks. A sharing of animal battle books. Or a look at a specific question that groups might investigate and chime in on, discovering a solution.
