Alexandria v5 & v6 will no longer be supported after August 31st, 2022
We created Alexandria Library Management Software over 30 years ago, and we have never stopped our commitment to improving Alexandria! During this time, we have had to make some strategic decisions about obsolescence to keep up with technologies, advancements and integrations.
We realize this might come as a shock, but as of August 31st, 2022 Alexandria v5 & v6 will no longer be supported. To ensure we’re providing the best experience, we are asking all customers to switch to Alexandria 7.
Alexandria 7 has been out for eight years and those using it have experienced increased customer satisfaction through our powerful partnerships, time-saving features, and increased accessibility and circulation. As such, Alexandria 7 just won the 2022 Modern Library Association's Platinum award for innovation and customer satisfaction.
Switching to Alexandria 7 will allow you to unlock your library's full potential, with features like SIS integration with Clever and GG4L, our integrated Textbook and Asset Management module, partnerships with Mitinet, Gumdrop Books, and add-ons like Navigator and Engagement+, to name just a few. Alexandria v6 Cloud-Hosted Customers
Already being a Cloud Hosted customer makes this Switch simple! Our certified Alexandria technicians will handle the entire conversion to the latest release of Alexandria 7. You can call 800-347-6439 to schedule a conversion date with us, or we will automatically Switch your system during the weekend of July 1–4, 2022 (to minimize any impact during the conversion process).
Alexandria v6/v5 Self-Hosted Customers
We’ve made the conversion to Alexandria 7 easy but will need to work with you directly to initiate the process. We will be contacting you shortly to start the Switch to Alexandria 7 Cloud Hosted Software. Be sure to plan to Switch before August 31, 2022 to avoid additional conversion fees, which we are waiving for this promotional period.
