Lost? Found? Fine!
If a patron loses an item, pays for it, but then the item is found, do you refund the full amount, or do you withhold a flat fee from the refund? If you do charge a fee on lost items that are returned, there is a new preference in version 6 that you will love!
To set an amount as a Returned Lost Item Fine Amount:

Go to Edit on the menu bar and select System Preferences.

In the Circulation category of the System Preferences window, click on Rules.

Click on the Rules tab, then click on the checkbox for Returned Lost Item Fine and enter the amount you wish to charge in the field provided.

Click on Save in the upper-right corner of the System Preferences window.
