Using Alexandria Policies to Generate Meaningful Statistics
Summary: Knowing what parts of your collection are or are not being used and by whom provides you with meaningful information. For instance, if no one is using your 000s, you may want to book talk that Dewey Classification area. Or, you may want to look at the age and/or reading level of those materials to determine whether or not you want to weed or order newer materials on the same or a different reading level. Alexandria Policies are critical in obtaining meaningful statistics.
