Inventory Helps

Summary: Each year around this time, thoughts turn to inventory as many of you prepare for the end of another school year. 

There are different ways of doing an inventory: A laptop with a regular scanner, a wireless or Palm scanner, etc.  Alexandria offers 4 different commands for completing an inventory depending on the way that works best for you.

Enjoy these two helpful tech notes as you plan for your inventory.  Remember that Alexandria is always doing an inventory during Circulation.  Set your Report Select by criteria to Inventory Date and Copy Status, and your inventory will be accurate even if you are still circulating.
