Item List Report / Item Analysis Report

Summary: Have you ever wanted a count of your items and copies?  Maybe you want to know what titles were purchased this past year.  Item Reports such as Item List or Item Analysis allow you to view or share information about the items in your collections.

The Item List report offers several format options for viewing a list of the titles in your collection.  Use the Select By criteria to narrow down the titles that will appear on the report.  The Item Analysis report shows a simple count of Titles and Copies as well as the replacement value based on the items included in the Select By criteria.

To run an Item report:

·  Select Item Reports from the Reports drop-down menu.

·  Use the Report Type drop-down menu to select the desired report.  In the examples above, that would be either Item List or Item Analysis depending on whether you are looking for a simple count or a complete list of titles.

·  For the Item List report type, select the desired format using the Format drop-down menu. 

·  Set the Sort By drop-down menu to the desired order for the items to appear on the report.  This will only be visible on the Item List report.

·  To see the items added during the past year, choose Accession Date from the Select By drop-down menu.  Then, indicate the Start Date and End Date for the timeframe to be shown.

·  Click the Print button to view the report printed to screen.

·  To print to paper, select Print from the File drop-down menu.
