A New Inventory Tech Note

Summary: It is that time of year again. Time to do an inventory and to see where items are and what might be missing. Alexandria modifies the inventory date of an item whenever it is checked in, checked out, inventoried, or scanned in Statistics mode to track usage. It is still recommended that you do a full inventory each year to have a more detailed and up to date view of your complete collection. A comprehensive inventory helps to find out of order items along with items that may be checked out, etc that are on the shelf. There are some new features that you might find useful as you do your inventory this year using v5.5.1 or later. This week's tip will direct you to a new tech note available from our website to help you better understand these new features.
