What is Checked Out?
Summary: With the Winter break approaching for many of you, we thought it might help to share a tip on how to run a list of what is checked out. The Loaned Items report under Circulation Reports shows you what items are checked out to your patrons. This can be used to help see who still has items checked out when everything must be returned prior to the break. It can also be used to remind patrons what they have checked out to them.
There are several different formats of the report depending on the amount of information desired. Just like the other reports, you can use the Sort By and Select By criteria to determine the order for the report as well as what information should be used to create the report.
To run the Loaned Items report:
-
Select Circulation Reports from the Report drop-down menu.
-
Use the Report Name drop-down menu to choose Loaned Items.
- Set the Format, Sort by, and Select by drop-downs as desired.
- Click Print.
- To save the report settings for later use, click on Create Quick Report and give the name a report.
As with all reports, the report will first print to screen allowing you to preview it prior to sending it to the printer using the Print option from the File menu.
Thank you,
The Alexandria Staff Librarians
