Importing a Transaction ScriptSummary: At one time or other you have probably all wished that you had some way of remotely circulating items. Recently, we discussed the new Web Librarian features of Alexandria. This week's tip will discuss another way of circulating remotely using a Transaction Script file created in any word processor or using Alexandria's VWP from a Researcher or other client.Any computer can be used to circulate in Alexandria by opening up a word processing document and typing or scanning the desired commands and barcodes. You can then use the * command to import the transaction file into Alexandria. The newest versions of Alexandria even offer the option of Import Transaction Script from the File menu.To create a text file:
