Adding a Note to the Transaction Log Summary: The fire alarm goes off while you are in the middle of bookdropping a group of books. You are in the middle of inventorying a section of your library when you get called away to help a patron find a book. Have you ever had something like this come up while circulating that you wanted to make note of? Alexandria allows you to note things in the Transaction Log by using the # command. The # command makes it easy to add a reminder or a "marker" so that you would be aware of anything happening while you are away from your computer. To add a note to the Transaction Log:

![]() You will find this command makes it easy to track events that come up while circulating, which can then be referred to later through the Log Archives.
