Extra! Extra! 5.44 revD available for download.Summary: Many, if not all of you, probably received the announcement email that 5.44 revD is available for downloading. You can expect improved stability and a host of new enhancements including: New Slip Printer, a Discarded Mode (DM) command, mailing labels available for Overdue Notices, and two new Super Summary formats. For more detailed information about this update, please see the Release Notes for this version of Alexandria (directions for accessing them are below). We think you will really enjoy the many new features and improvements. Below are directions for updating to this new version from Alexandria.Notes:

Always run an Archive or make a Backup prior to doing an update.

Due to the added enhancements, you will be required to do a Rebuild after updating. This can take a little while, so please plan accordingly when preparing to update.

To access version release notes:

Select Utilities from the File menu.

Choose Check for Updates using the Utility Type drop-down menu.

Use the Operations drop-down menu to select Check for Updates.

Click Run.

Click on Readme to select it from the Available Updates window. This window appears, if an update is available from the Update Server as indicated in your Administration preferences.

Click Read.

To download the update:

Select Utilities from the File menu.

Choose Check for Updates using the Utility Type drop-down menu.

Use the Operations drop-down menu to select Check for Updates.

Click Run.

Click on Update to select it from the Available Updates window. This window appears, if an update is available from the Update Server as indicated in your Administration preferences.

Click Update.
