Time to Pay the Piper: Overdue Lists & Notices
Summary: As the school year comes to a close, please be aware of the different overdue reports you can run.

Part II: Overdue Lists
Overdue lists in Patron Reports show the patron name, homeroom, item call number, title, barcode, due date, and fine amount. Additional formats are found under the Overdue List option under Circulation Report. These formats range from a student's name with the number of items overdue and the amount owed, to a more detailed list with item titles and costs (handy for giving the office at the end of the year).

Run an Overdue List from Patron Reports:

  • Select Patron Reports from the Reports menu.

  • Use the Report Name drop-down menu to choose Overdue List.

  • Set the Sort By and Select By settings to the desired criteria. To print each homeroom on a separate sheet, select Homeroom / Name.
  • Click the Print button to print the report to screen. To save the report settings, click on Create Quick Report, give the report a name such as "Overdue list by homeroom," and click OK.
  • With the report printed to screen, use the Tool icon just above the scroll bar on the right side of the window to delete any homerooms without overdues prior to sending to the printer.
  • Select Print from the File menu. Check the settings and click Print.

Run an Overdue List from Circulation Reports:

  • Choose Circulation Reports from the Reports menu.

  • Use the Report Name drop-down menu to select Overdue List.

  • Select the desired format using the Format menu.
  • Set the Sort By and Select By drop-down menus to the desired settings. To separate each homeroom to its own paper, simply set the Sort By menu to Patron Homeroom.
  • Click the Print button to print the report to screen. To save the report settings, click on Create Quick Report, give the report a name such as "Overdue list by homeroom," and click OK.
  • Select Print from the File menu. Check the settings and click Print.
