Follow these procedures to prepare patron records for a new school year. Part 1 covers steps 3-7, to perform at the start of the new school year: import student information, update patron policies, remove graduated patrons, remove absent patrons who owe no fines or items, and change homerooms on absent patrons who owe fines or items.

To update patron homeroom and policies, from the Utilities module, go to the Patron category and select the Replace Information utility. To remove patrons, from the same location select the Remove Patrons utility.
