"I am Nancy Konopinski. I am the librarian at Northpoint Elementary in the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation. We currently have 350 children Grades 1-5 in our school. Because of high enrollment and lack of space, our Kindergarten classes have been located in a sister school.

"I have 'grown up' with Alexandria and and simply awe-struck with it. I had been in my other school for eighteen years--thirteen years as a teacher aide and five years as a librarian. "We also used Follett Publishing for our opening day collection and received the books shelf ready and info on disk that just had to be imported. That was a blessing! We received 4,000 books from a sister school that closed when we opened but, unfortunately, they all had to be re-bar coded. "In the fall of 1994, East Chilliwack Elementary became the first elementary school library in Chilliwack to automate and became the first elementary school in Canada to use Alexandria.
